El Sol Latino is a weekly publication targeted to the Hispanic market in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley. From the outset the mission of the newspaper has been to inform and to contribute to the education of our readers. We provide coverage of news from all over the globe with special emphasis on Latin American and the United States. We present our readers with thoughtful and incisive bilingual editorials and opinion columns as well as reports on politics, social issues,
education, the arts, music and up to date information on sports.
Over the years we have grown along with the Hispanic population of the region and we are
positioned as one of the best publications in Spanish. We not only bring our readers international and national news, we inform them of events in their own backyard and try to help them understand some of the complex political and social issues giving them access to the decision makers. We constantly aim to improve our image and spare no effort in bringing our readers a colorful and visually pleasing publication using state of the art technology. We intend to lead the way into the new century reaching an ever wider audience from New Jersey to Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Grupo Bogota obtained the publication a few years ago in order o expand our reach beyond the Hispanic community and to reach a
potential customer base of 65,000 Portuguese speaking inhabitants of the Delaware Valley. This is a good example of the leadership role we have
assumed in trying to integrate the Latin American population of this area, not only to bring a sense of solidarity but also to present a united front to the rest of the world. The publication covers international, national and local news.
We cover politics, the economy, social issues, education, entertainment and sports among other topics. We serve as a forum for our community and present them with up to date information, opinion and analysis of current events. The publication of the Brazilian News weekly is a source of pride for our company, representing our best efforts to lead the way at the start of this
millennium, informing and educating, serving as guides to our community.
The PHBJ is an English monthly publication of Grupo
Bogotá. We intend this business oriented monthly lo reach both Hispanics and the larger audience of the Delaware Valley. Our main task is to inform our readers regarding the economic activity of this region. addressing their monetary concerns, providing useful orientation for loans, taxes. and investments. Beyond that immediate preoccupation, we seek lo present the Hispanic business community with a bridge that goes both ways,
connecting them to the rest of the world and bringing the world to them. We publish articles on the most recent economic and political events in Latin America, concerning most of the issues that will affect our community directly and indirectly. We provide information on currency fluctuations, economic trends in the region, political activity, like change of
government, coups, and drastic changes that know no borders.
The new look of our magazine attests to our desire to improve ourselves
and our community using modern technology for our physical appearance and accessing the most reliable sources for our content. We have evolved over
the last few years, and now at the start of the new century we are well positioned to assume a leadership role in the Delaware Valley,
bringing together business leaders, politicians and other personalities directly involved in the daily lives of our people. Through them we intend to develop a vision for our economic future, setting the stage for the future generations of Hispanic leaders that will guide us through the rest of the century.
